(More customer reviews)I have a wireless regular controller for PS2 and it occasionally losing the connection.In Guitar hero II, which is what I use this for, that would be disasterous, but it hasn't happened once in many hours of play.After at least 20 or so hours, I haven't noticed any slow down of the original batteries at all, I'm not even sure how far they'll go.
There is also a cord that you can play from USB (computer) power if you are out of batteries, although obviously that takes away the wireless aspect.the same cord can be used to charge rechargable (not included) batteries, if you so choose.
3 AAA Energizer batteries are included in the box.If I could change anything about it, I would have included stickers, but that's nominal.
This is a solid piece of equipment as far as I am concerned.
