(More customer reviews)I write this review as someone who has gone through both the original rock band guitar and the rock band 2 guitar, and this review is mainly aimed at people who are already familiar with these sort of things.In a nutshell, this guitar can be exactly described as a rock band 2 guitar that looks like a rock band 1 guitar.It retains all the upgrades of the RB2 guitar, including quieter frets and a sensor to auto-calibrate game lag, while looking like the original black RB1 guitar (a step backwards IMO, as I much prefer the wood grain sunburst design of the RB2 guitar).
I can't find any improvements or differences besides the rock band logo being emblazoned on one end of the guitar strap.The product description advertises quieter fret buttons "over the original" which must refer to the RB1 guitar since I feel and hear no difference compared to the RB2 guitar.
Overall it's still a solid guitar controller... it's just disappointing that no effort was made to improve it in any way.
